South County football players took the field for one last time high school players last Friday at the 33rd Annual All-Star High School Football Game at Rabobank Football Stadium in Salinas. Six players from Soledad, two players from Greenfield, two from King City, and one from Gonzales High participated in the game.

GUHS downs Bruins, 56-44
Isaiah Banuelos scored 24 points to lead the Gonzales Spartan basketball team to a 56-44 non-league over the visiting Greenfield Bruins on Dec. 19 at the Roger Fernando Gym.
