POP-UP CLINIC
KING CITY — The VIDA Project, Monterey County Health Department and the City of King will co-host a Pop-Up Clinic on Friday, Nov. 19. The free clinic will take place from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the King City Recreation Center, 401 Division St. There will be rapid Covid-19 testing, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccines, Pfizer booster shots for those who qualify and a limited quantity of flu shots available. La Plaza Bakery in King City is offering a free box of pan dulce pastries to the first 150 families who get vaccinated for Covid-19. Walk-ins are welcomed, but pre-registration is recommended for vaccines, which are open to those ages 5 and older, at myturn.ca.gov or call 831-205-0044.
SEAFOOD BOIL
KING CITY — King City Rotary Club will host Seafood Boil, and all-you-can-eat dinner of crab, shrimp, sausage and more, on Friday, Nov. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds. PET VACCINES
GONZALES — South County Animal Rescue will host a drive-thru canine and feline vaccine clinic on Saturday, Nov. 20, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The clinic will take place at the Vosti Center parking lot, 107 Centennial Drive, in Gonzales. Various vaccines will be available for a cost. Walk-ups will also be accepted.
