SOLEDAD — A man suffered significant facial injuries following an assault Thursday night in Soledad, according to the Soledad Police Department.
Police said officers responded at about 10:22 p.m. on May 28 to a report of an assault in the 100 block of Buena Vista Park.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from serious facial injuries and immediately rendered aid until medical personnel arrived on scene.
The victim was transported by American Medical Response to Natividad Medical Center for treatment. His current condition was not available.
Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was assaulted by multiple individuals prior to officers’ arrival, police said.
“Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and working to identify all persons involved,” police said.
No arrests had been made as of Friday, and the investigation remains ongoing.
