SOLEDAD — A 35-year-old man has died after he was found shot in the head early Saturday morning in Soledad.

According to the Soledad Police Department, officers responded to a report of gunshots on April 17 at about 12:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Tiburon Place. There, they found a male subject “sitting inside a parked vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head,” police said in a news release.

The man, whose name was not released, was unresponsive but breathing and was taken to Natividad Medical Center in critical condition. He later died from his injuries on Sunday.

No other details have been released.
