SOLEDAD — GardaWorld Cash is offering a reward of up to $30,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible for an attack on one of its employees and a subsequent robbery in Soledad.

The incident occurred May 29 at about 1 p.m. at Food For Less, 2443 H De La Rosa St., where a GardaWorld Cash employee was servicing the store.

On June 3, GardaWorld Cash announced it is seeking public assistance to help law enforcement apprehend the individuals responsible for the attack.

While the armored vehicle guard is stable and recovering, the company said it “is intolerant of acts of violence against its employees.”

GardaWorld Cash is offering the reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible for the attack and/or recovery of stolen funds.
