Gonzales residents rode their bicycles and walked last Sunday during the first Ciclovía Gonzales in an effort to get physically active.

Gonzales City Council was introduced to a proposed new development that would include a library with meeting rooms and a community space as well as nearby housing.

A second wind turbine will soon join the Taylor Farms wind turbine in Gonzales. The City Council approved a wind turbine site lease agreement between the City and Mann Packing Company Inc. on Nov. 20.
