The County of Monterey and the California Parks Company have announced the reopening of Lake San Antonio, which has been closed since July 2015 due to the drought.

Pinnacles National Park receives field trip grant from National Park Foundation

Pinnacles National Park will receive a field trip grant for the 2018-19 school year from the National Park Foundation, the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service. This $5,200 grant will be used to help underserved schools with the cost of transportation to Pinnacles National Park.

City of Gonzales has brought on two new employees, Matthew Sundt and Patrick Dobbins, to fill vacant positions with the city.
