Gonzales High School Class of 2016 graduate Natalie Basaldua had an enjoyable and successful season as a sophomore third baseman on the William Jessup University softball team (Rocklin).

With the high school football season under two months away, local teams are preparing for fall games with weight lifting, overall conditioning, and taking part in seven-on-seven football games.

The Titans’ 9- to 11-year-olds flag football team improved to 2-0 after the second week of play with a 50-16 win over the Texans.

Youth football kicked off Friday at Dick Force Stadium in Gonzales with the start of the Shield Bearers Flag Football League.

Gonzales High School baseball program hosted a dinner and awards night June 5 at the school cafeteria. Coaches and players gathered to applaud the players for a successful season and to enjoy a feast of Chipotle food.

A night of food and memories was shared by the Gonzales High track and field program with friends and families on May 31 at the annual team banquet and awards night.

On May 24 the Fairview Middle School wrestling team from Gonzales completed the season with an awards night. The young Warriors featured many youngsters that were new to the sport of wrestling.
