It was a rollercoaster ride for the Gonzales High baseball team last week as they held a four-run lead at home to the Carmel Padres in the fourth inning and lost the game, and then were no-hit by Carmel’s Dylan Houpt by a 13-0 score on the road.

Wins over the Anzar Hawks last week helped the Gonzales baseball team improve to 5-6 in the Mission Trail Athletic League and 5-12 overall.

The Gonzales High baseball team suffered two different losses last week to the Pacific Grove Breakers.

With wins over Greenfield and Trinity Christian, the Gonzales High softball is in first place in the Coastal League with a 5-1 record.

The Gonzales High varsity softball team won its first game as a member of the Coastal League, defeating the King City Lady Mustangs 5-2 on Thursday in Gonzales.
