Singing with The Hoots

GONZALES — The Hoots’ Joel and Julianna entertained Gonzales kids and their parents at the Gonzales Library on July 28.

The musician group played Beatles-inspired songs and others, such as “Peanut Butter,” a song about ketchup, brushing teeth and even washing hands. The group is from Sacramento and has an owl-puppet show on their website www.hootquarters.com.

This was the final “Reading by Design” summer reading program this year.
