Ines Rubbo Revels passed away peacefully on August 28, 2017 at the age of 83.  Ines was born to Domenico (Dan) and Domenica Cesira Rubbo on November 10, 1933 in Gonzales, California.

Ines grew up in Gonzales along with her two older sisters, Lucy and Ida.  She graduated from Gonzales High School, staying connected with her former classmates and always involved in organizing class reunions.

Pure joy for Ines was traveling with Active Seniors, going to Chukchansi, watching her Giants, and most of all, spending time with her family.  In her quiet time you always found Ines knitting her cozy slippers for family and friends, and in recent years, on her IPAD.

Ines was the reason everyone in the family HUGGED.  From the moment she arrived anywhere her arms were outstretched and you were totally embraced with her heartfelt love.  There was no getting away from her, and who would want to.

Ines worked many clerical jobs in the Salinas area, retiring from Hayashi Wayland.  She volunteered throughout her life, most recently at Active Seniors.  She helped many people from the generosity and goodness of her heart because that was just the kind of person she was.

Ines is survived by her loving family.  Sisters, Lucy Solomon and Ida Pura (Wilmer).  Her beloved seven nieces and nephews, Janice Banta (Russ), Anne Solomon-Courrejou (Michael), Stanley Pura (Jamii), Laurie Massa (Bill), Dan Solomon (Susan), Bill Solomon (Suzanne), and Marc Pura (Tara).  14 great nieces and nephews, 4 great-great nieces and nephew, and many cousins in America and Italia.

Our family wants to acknowledge a most precious angel who came into all our lives this past year, and most importantly, gave our Aunt the care she needed and became a dear and beloved friend to us all.  Thank you Minh.

In honor of Ines, memorials/donations can be made to an organization of your choice, Active Seniors, 100 Harvest Street, Salinas, CA 93901, or Hospice of Central Coast, 2 Upper Ragsdale Drive, Monterey, CA 93940.
