GREENFIELD — Greenfield Police responded to a report of a stabbing in the area of Parkside Park on May 26 at about 4:30 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a juvenile male with a stab wound. They learned the stabbing occurred about an hour earlier in the area of Ninth Street and Palm Avenue during a fight between a group of juveniles.

As a precaution, the boy was airlifted to a Bay Area hospital for treatment.

“This investigation is ongoing,” police said.
