GONZALES — After a four-year hiatus because of Covid-19, the Gonzales High School Hall of Fame will take place Saturday, April 29, at the Amaral Barn in Salinas.

The Spartan 300 Club, along with the Gonzales High Athletic Program will be honoring men and women that have left their mark representing the Spartan athletic teams.

According to Hall of Fame Committee member Fidencio Cuevas, the deadline to nominate an individual or a team is Sunday, March 12.

“We have a rich history of athletic achievements here at Gonzales High School,” Cuevas said. “It has been four years since the last Hall of Fame and we are looking forward to hosting another event at the Amaral Barn. We are grateful to the Amaral family for their continued support of Gonzales athletics and the Spartan Hall of Fame celebration. The proceeds of this event go to scholarships for Gonzales High School student-athletes and for our Child in Need Program.”

Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Gonzales Hall of Fame website on Facebook by logging on to Athletic Hall of Fame.
