MONTEREY COUNTY — The California Highway Patrol (CHP), Monterey Area, is seeking qualified men and women to become CHP Public Safety Dispatchers (PSD).

Bilingual candidates (Spanish speaking) are especially encouraged to apply.

To assist prospective candidates and provide information about this interesting and rewarding career, the CHP Monterey Dispatch Center is conducting a Hiring and Pre-Examination Seminar. 

A recruiting seminar will be held Thursday, June 22, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., at the America’s Job Center of California, Salinas Airport Business Park, 730 La Guardia St., in Salinas.

The PSD examination will be held Aug. 19 (the final filing date to take that exam is July 20).
