SALINAS — California Rodeo Salinas is offering two scholarship opportunities in 2022 for local students.

California Rodeo Association’s scholarship program, established with Hartnell College, offers $2,500 to $5,000 scholarships to Salinas Valley high school students who are attending or graduating from Hartnell.

Community Foundation for Monterey County’s scholarship program allows students who are California Rodeo Salinas committee members or related to committee members to apply for a $5,000 scholarship to attend any college or other post high school education program, including trade school.

Both programs will award multiple scholarships with varying amounts allocated to each student who earns an award.

Applications for the Hartnell scholarships will be accepted until March 2, and the Community Foundation scholarship applications are due by March 15.

Full eligibility details as well as links to both applications can be found at carodeo.com/p/about-us/community/scholarships.
