Amparo Elvira Martinez Krauth passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday afternoon, March 29, 2017 after a long illness at home in the presence of her family.
She is survived by her husband, 3 children, and two grandchildren, and 3 brothers, and large number of close friends, many going back to elementary school in Gonzales, Hartnell College in Salinas, and San Jose State.
As a union representative, she extended her circle of friends to include many letter carriers and union activists in San Jose. She was the first member of her family to graduate from college and set the example for her children who all graduated from California universities.
