Taelyn Munoz and Mily Paramo combined for 33 assists and 15 digs.

“It was a back-and forth game with Alisal,” said King City head coach Christine Luna. “They are pretty tall and are strong at the net. It was good to beat them at their place.”

King City did not get much of a break as they played Soledad the next day in the Mustang gym. The Mustangs defeated the Aztecs by a 3-1 score.

“We had a quick turnaround and played Soledad the day after the Alisal game. We won our first two games and then lost the third one,” Luna said. “Our girls were determined not to lose the fourth game.”
