SOLEDAD — Soledad Police Department is looking into several incidents of vandalism resulting from the shooting of BB guns over the weekend.

The department said it has some potential names of the responsible parties and reports that they might be adults, not juveniles as originally thought.

According to Deputy Chief Damon Wasson, at least 10 vehicles have been damaged and a possible suspect vehicle was found. Police made contact with a potential suspect who admitted to driving the vehicle while the other parties involved vandalized the vehicles.

A Facebook post reported similar incidents occurring in Gonzales on Gamay Place and Chardonnay Drive, with about seven vehicles being vandalized there.

This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
