Youth Council seeks members

The Gonzales Youth Council is now accepting applications for the 2017-2018 school year. Applications are due by Monday, June 5, to the school office or City Hall.

Dedication of new memorial this Monday

FAIR WINDS DOWN

With the theme ā€œCowboy Up and Wind Down,ā€ the 2017 Salinas Valley Fair brought thousands of visitors to South County last weekend and featured the annual Junior Livestock Auction, which racked in $2.1 million from the sale of 950 animals.

Church welcomes new reverend

The Gonzales Community Presbyterian Church is welcoming a new pastor into the fold. The Rev. Steven Knowles will take the lead at the church, located at the corner of Fourth and Day streets in Gonzales, this Sunday, May 21.

This past Thursday, May 4, the Gonzales FFA Officer Team hosted the 2016-2017 Annual Awards Banquet. During the banquet, they awarded student achievements from the school year.
