Cypress Church of Gonzales hosted its fourth annual Easter service and Easter egg hunt in Gonzales Central Park last Sunday.
Drug take-back yields 7 boxes
Residents had the opportunity to clean out medicine cabinets and drawers last Saturday and bring unused and expired prescription medicines to the 13th National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

California voters took to the polls last Tuesday to decide on numerous candidates for state and county offices as well as local measures in the June 5 primary election, the results of which are continuing to be counted.
THANKING VETERANS
The Salinas Annual Veterans Day Parade brought many local veterans as well as high school groups, such as Soledad High School NJROTC and Gonzales Marching Band, to honor veterans Nov. 11 at Downtown Main Street.

Class of 2017 graduates of Gonzales High School are attending California state universities, University of California, out-of-state private universities, community colleges and moving into trade schools.

Gonzales City Council has made a decision on speed limits throughout the city, with 25 mph as the baseline.
