SOLEDAD — Soledad Police is looking for two suspects involved in a shooting that killed one person and injured another Sunday night.

At about 8 p.m. on Oct. 10, officers from the Soledad Police Department responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Iris Place in the San Vicente Townhomes, where they found two gunshot victims in front of and inside the residence.

One of the victims died at the scene, and the other was taken to the hospital and is “now recovering with family,” police said.

Officers were advised that two suspects had fled the area prior to their arrival.

“Officers obtained a possible vehicle and suspect description from witnesses, and our detectives continue to investigate this incident,” police said.

Numerous units from the Greenfield and King City police departments and the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office provided assistance.
