SOLEDAD — City of Soledad Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to attend a festive two-in-one event this holiday season.
“We’re combining the magic of the season with a special milestone as we unveil our newly renovated stage at the Soledad Community Center on Saturday, Dec. 14,” said Parks and Recreation Director Jessica Potts.
Cookies with Santa
Get ready for a magical holiday experience as families join Santa Claus himself for a fun-filled afternoon of cookie decorating, crafts and holiday cheer.
Children can take a photo with Santa, enjoy delicious cookies and share their holiday wishes on Saturday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Soledad Community Center, 560 Walker Drive. For ticket information, call 831-223-5250.
“This event is perfect for children of all ages and promises to be a memorable part of your holiday traditions,” Potts said.
Stage Renovation
Also on Saturday, the City will celebrate the completion of its much-anticipated stage renovation project, which was made possible through the Hometown Grant by T-Mobile.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 4:15 p.m. during the event, marking a new chapter for local performances and community gatherings. The upgraded stage is a testament to the power of collaboration and community spirit.
“T-Mobile’s Hometown Grant has played an instrumental role in helping us enhance our facilities to better serve the community, providing a modernized and accessible venue for events throughout the year,” Potts said.
The upgraded stage will host everything from local talent performances to cultural events, providing a vibrant space for community engagement and building lifelong memories.
“We are proud to offer this special event to the community and grateful to T-Mobile for their support through the Hometown Grant program,” Potts added. “Together, we are making our community a brighter and more connected place to live, work, and celebrate.”
