SOLEDAD — Hundreds of children and their families participated in an Easter egg hunt and other activities last Saturday at Cesar Chavez Park in Soledad.

The free Easter celebration also included games and crafts, face painting, prize drawings, hot dogs and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

The April 16 community event was sponsored by the Lioness Club, Soledad Parks and Recreation, Soledad Police Department and Soledad-Mission Recreation District.
