GONZALES — A soccer youth camp will take place July 29-Aug. 1 at Dick Force Stadium in Gonzales.
Boys and girls will be grouped from 5-7 years old and from 8-13 years old.
The event will be conducted on the newly renovated turf field by a collaboration of the Gonzales High School boys’ soccer team and the Salinas Police Activities League.
Sponsors for the free soccer camp are Mac Builder Construction LLC, 101 Exterminator Termite and Pest Control, and Savor the Local.
Lead clinicians will include Gonzales High head soccer coach Miguel Viduari and assistant coach Danny Pulido. Any former Gonzales players who would like to assist in the camp are encouraged to volunteer.
“We would like to have the campers come out and learn some new skills and experience our new facility,” Vidauri said. “Every boy and girl that participates in the camp will receive a T-shirt thanks to our sponsors.”
