SCHOOL WAIVER

LOCKWOOD — Superintendent Josh Van Norman announced Oct. 12 that San Antonio School District had submitted a waiver application to Monterey County for reopening of in-person instruction, and that the waiver had been approved by Monterey County Health Department and the California Department of Public Health. As part of the school’s reopening plan, students from TK through fifth grade will return to campus on a target date of Nov. 16. The time allows district personnel to plan, get training and inventory the current amounts of personal protective equipment. San Antonio joins San Ardo Elementary as a duo of South Monterey County schools to apply for and receive waivers.
