BLOCK PARTY

KING CITY — King City Police Department has planned a District 5 Block Party on Thursday, Sept. 28, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the 300 block of Forden Drive. There will be music, food, bounce houses, entertainment and more. The community can also meet their local councilmember, police officers and neighbors.


MERCHANTS MEETING

SOLEDAD — Soledad Merchants will host its monthly member meeting on Thursday, Sept. 28, at 6 p.m. at The Windmill Restaurant in Soledad. Business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to attend. DOG CLINIC

GONZALES — The SPCA for Monterey County will provide a Dog Spay/Neuter, Vaccination and Microchip Clinic in Gonzales on Saturday, Sept. 30. There is a limited number of slots available for Gonzales residents only at the clinic, hosted by Gonzales Police Department. To make an appointment, call the Gonzales PD at 831-675-5010 during regular business hours. For those who live outside of Gonzales and need help getting their dog or cat fixed, submit a request for SCAR’s Voucher Program online at scar.pet.


BONUS BRIEF: FUNDRAISER CELEBRATION

KING CITY — Sol Treasures will be celebrating its 15th anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 30, during its Annual Fundraiser Celebration. The community is invited to attend and support the arts in South Monterey County, all while having a delicious dinner with a showcase and live entertainment from Monterey County Line.
