COMMUNITY BEAUTIFICATION

GONZALES — Gonzales residents are encouraged to take part in keeping the city beautiful throughout September, officially designated as Community Beautification Month. The city invites everyone to get involved in various cleanup and improvement efforts. Residents can help by doing the following: keep a litter bag on hand, clean up after pets, maintain their property, get involved in the Community Garden, participate in local recycling drives and community-wide garage sales. Stop by City Hall to pick up a free front-yard sign, available on a first-come, first-served basis, to show support for the cause.
