KING CITY — King City’s next SOCOS Social (SOuth COunty Seniors Social) featuring a free lunch, entertainment and access to senior resources is set for Thursday, Oct. 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the King City Recreation Center, 401 Division St. Seniors age 60 and older who live in King City or the surrounding communities are invited to attend the social, presented by Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley. SENIOR FITNESS

GREENFIELD — A free senior fitness program will take place Thursday, Oct. 6, at 4 p.m. at the Greenfield Cultural Arts Center, 215 El Camino Real, in Greenfield. The low-impact fitness class is open to senior citizens age 55 and up. Register at the Community Center in Patriot Park before Oct. 6 to participate.


LISTENING SESSION

SOLEDAD — Monterey County Supervisor Chris Lopez and Soledad City Manager Brent Slama are hosting a community listening session on Thursday, Oct. 6, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 248 Main St., in Soledad. Residents are invited to share their thoughts and concerns about the community, city and county government.
