Catholic Charities offers services at Third District Office

KING CITY — Residents of South Monterey County can access health care enrollment assistance, immigration legal services and financial stability support through Catholic Charities Diocese of Monterey at Monterey County Supervisor Chris Lopez’s Third District Office in King City.

The office, located at 1011 Broadway St., Suite C, will host Catholic Charities on the first Wednesday of each month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The arrangement makes services available closer to home for residents who may otherwise need to arrange transportation, childcare or time away from work to access assistance. Services include help with CalFresh applications and recertifications, Medi-Cal enrollment and renewals, immigration legal services and financial stability support.

Catholic Charities also offers services at 27 S. El Camino Real in Greenfield on the first and third Thursdays of each month from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For CalFresh and Medi-Cal assistance, call 831-233-3304. For immigration legal services and financial stability services, call 831-422-0602. Residents are encouraged to contact Catholic Charities directly to confirm service availability.
