BUSINESS LUNCHEON

KING CITY — Building Business Back program will host a luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 6, in King City to provide information about the various resources available to business owners and entrepreneurs recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic. Residents can attend the event, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Cork & Plough, 200 Broadway St., to learn more about this program. RSVP by Nov. 28 at montereycountybusiness.com/workshops/.


HOLIDAY BAZAAR

GONZALES — La Gloria Elementary School in Gonzales is hosting its annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fundraiser will be inside the school’s cafeteria at 220 Elko St. and feature handmade crafts by local artisans, children’s choirs, raffles, food and more, including a visit from Santa from 12 to 2 p.m. Admission is free.


AFFORDABLE HOMES

SOLEDAD — Four homes from the Liberty Court Development in Soledad will be sold at below market value as the inclusionary component of this subdivision, with two units to be completed March 2023 and the other two in late spring 2023. Anyone interested in applying for these homes must attend one of two informational workshops, either on Tuesday, Nov. 29, or Thursday, Dec. 8, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Soledad Community Center, 560 Walker Drive, or online via Zoom. Applicants must be current residents within the city limits of Soledad, and the deadline to submit an application is Dec. 22. BONUS BRIEF: GAMING PROGRAM

KING CITY — King City Library will host an afternoon of gaming activities on Saturday, Nov. 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. at 402 Broadway St. The program is open to all ages, and there will be a small selection of board games available. Library staff will also be offering free lessons to learn the Pokémon Trading Card game. Attendees are welcome to bring their own games, as well.
