PALMA GRADUATIONS
SALINAS — Palma Junior High School will host an eighth-grade graduation Mass on the campus practice field, 919 Iverson St. in Salinas, on Friday, May 29, at 5 p.m. The Mass will be immediately followed by a graduation ceremony. On Sunday, May 30, Palma School will host its high school graduation at Rabobank Stadium at 10:30 a.m. A limited number of tickets are available to family members due to continuing health and safety protocols. Masks must be worn at all times when attending these ceremonies.
MONTHLY LUNCHEON
KING CITY — Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated will host its monthly luncheon meeting on Tuesday, June 1, 11:30 a.m. at Wildhorse Cafe, 50630 Mesa Verde Road, in King City. The guest speaker will be Peter Kuo, vice chair of the California Republican Party, who will discuss voter registration, the Recall Gavin Newsom effort and the California Republican Party Convention. CONCERT POSTPONED
SALINAS — The Big Week Kick Off Concert featuring Toby Keith that had been rescheduled for July 9, 2021, has been postponed to July 15, 2022. The guidelines for hosting outdoor events in California this summer are still unknown and Keith has agreed to move the performance to 2022. The concert is presented by Taylor Farms and produced by the California Rodeo Salinas and David Drew Productions. Ticket holders can use their July 2020 concert tickets for the July 2022 concert.
