HOUSING WORKSHOP

SOLEDAD — Monterey Bay Economic Partnership Housing Initiative and the City of Soledad will be cohosting a Salinas Valley Housing Element Workshop on Thursday, May 19, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Soledad Community Center, 560 Walker Drive. Every eight years, California requires local governments to update their Housing Element, creating a blueprint for the community’s housing needs. BACKYARD CONCERT

KING CITY — Sol Treasures is once again presenting its Backyard Concert Series on Friday, May 20. The free concert, from 6 to 8 p.m., features rock and blues music from Monterey County Line at 519 Broadway St. in King City.


TRANSPORTATION JOBS

SALINAS — Monterey County Workforce Development Board is hosting an in-person job fair on Saturday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at 344 Salinas St. in Salinas. There will be a number of local employers who are looking for individuals to deliver passengers or products throughout the region at the job fair, which will feature jobs in transportation across all sectors in Monterey County.
