TESTING KITS

SALINAS VALLEY — Mee Memorial Healthcare System’s clinics in King City and Greenfield are offering free Covid-19 test kits to patients, employees and the local community. Each box contains two rapid antigen tests, and requests will be limited to four boxes per household. For more information or to request kits, call either King City at 831-385-7100 or Greenfield at 831-674-0112. Recipients will be provided a copy of the emergency use authorization and instructions on how to follow up if they receive a positive result.


ADU WORKSHOP

SOLEDAD — City of Soledad is presenting an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) community workshop on Tuesday, March 22. Residents can learn how to make an ADU in Soledad and ask any questions to building and planning department staff. The workshop will provide bilingual translation and light refreshments from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Soledad Community Center, 560 Walker Drive. BUSINESS FORUM

SEASIDE — California State University Monterey Bay will host the 20th Annual Ethics and Responsible Business Forum on Wednesday, March 23, from 3 to 5 p.m. The free, interactive virtual webinar’s debate-style forum will address “Woke Capitalism: Should Businesses Jump In or Stay Out?” Keynote speakers are Danielle Warren, professor of management and global business at Rutgers Business School; and Wayne Winegarden, a senior fellow in business and economics at the Pacific Research Institute. The forum will be moderated and emceed by CSUMB distinguished lecturer Jeff Froshman.
