AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM

GREENFIELD — Greenfield Recreation Department will be offering an after-school program beginning Feb. 1 at the Recreation Center in Patriot Park. The free program for grades first through sixth will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. and Wednesdays from 2:15 to 5:15 p.m. Tutoring includes introductory science, basic math, arts and crafts, reading and language. LUNCHEON MEETING

KING CITY — Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated will host its monthly luncheon meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 1, at 11:30 a.m. at King Kora Restaurant, 611 Canal St. in King City. The guest speakers will be Jeff Hoyne, candidate for Monterey County sheriff, and Steve Snodgrass, candidate for District 2 supervisor. FAIR VENDORS

MONTEREY — Monterey County Fair is now accepting applications for food vendor and non-food commercial vendors for the 2022 fair, which will run from Thursday, Sept. 1, to Monday, Sept. 5. Applications are due by Feb. 1; after that date, spaces will be on a first-come, first served basis. The applications are available at montereycountyfair.com/2021-monterey-county-fair. Applications for community stage acts will be coming soon. Monterey County Fair takes place at the Monterey County Fair and Event Center, 2004 Fairground Road, in Monterey.

SALINAS — Natividad Medical Center is offering a free vaccination clinic for youth ages 5 to 11 years old on Monday, Jan. 31, from 3 to 5 p.m. This clinic features the Pfizer Covid-19 pediatric vaccine, two doses of which are required. The second-dose clinic is Monday, Feb. 21. Natividad is at 1441 Constitution Blvd. in Salinas. Make an appointment at myturn.ca.gov or call 2-1-1 for assistance.
