GONZALES — Gonzales Lions Club members held their first Rummage Sale fundraiser on Sept. 25 at Gonzales Community Presbyterian Church.

The fundraiser proceeds will go to the Gonzales Food Pantry because the Lions Club saw the need that the food pantry had for extra funds. The Club had already raised about $300 for the Food Pantry by noon on Saturday.

The Lions Club also passes around a hat for donations during the meetings they have twice a month on the second and fourth Thursdays at 6 p.m.
