A full day of celebration took place last Thursday for the annual Fourth of July event held at Central Park in Gonzales. With a 5K starting the day followed by a parade, community members also enjoyed music by the Survivors, Valley Roots and Banda 10-10, as well as food and games. All the events were sponsored by the Gonzales Rotary Club, the City of Gonzales and Silva Farms. Other Independence Day celebrations took place in Soledad and Greenfield this year.
