Norman George Graulich, “Norm”, 83, lifelong resident of Salinas passed away on Oct. 11th, 2018.

He was born on May 15th, 1935 in Salinas, Ca. to Edwin and Minnie (Solomon) Graulich. He graduated from Salinas High School. He went on to work with Hayward Lumber Co., P.G.&E Co., and for many years as a purchasing agent for Bruce Church Co.

Norman enjoyed his 20 year membership with SIRIS (Sons in Retirement) Salinas chapter 89, serving as the attendance membership chairman. He looked forward to visiting with his “coffee buddies” at the Cherry Bean Coffee Shop and gardening. He also loved sports, especially NFL football, the Warriors, the Giants and the 49ers.

Norman is survived by his wife of 48 years, Irene (Guidotti) Graulich. They traveled together, enjoyed time together and always attending Mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Spreckels, Ca.

Norman is also survived by his brother Les of Santa Maria, Ca., sisters Louise Soroken and Bette Kraul of Salinas, Ca. and Dorothy Hammons of San Jose, Ca. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Albert and Howard Graulich.

Visitation will be 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday, October 22, 2018 at Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis Street, Salinas, CA. 93901.

Funeral Mass will be held 11:00a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1 Railroad Ave. Spreckels, CA. 93962.Burial will be at 3:00p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Soledad District Cemetery, 1711 Metz Road, Soledad, CA. 93960.
