Court services expand in South County

Monterey County Superior Court continues to expand its self-help services in South County, with the Greenfield Self-Help Center preparing to operate on an additional day to assist residents seeking legal information.

The annual Gang Prevention Summit on Jan. 26 featured many speakers from law enforcement and from the Boys and Girls Club. This year there was also a special speaker, Juan ā€œJohnnyā€ Gomez, who was present when two of his relatives were victims of gang violence.

A tea party took over the King City Recreation Center as South County Animal Rescue hosted its first Sweetheart Tea and Silent Auction last Saturday in King City.
