GONZALES — Eggs, pancakes, sausages and drinks were waiting as Gonzales families walked into the American Legion Hall for the first Lion’s Club Father’s Day Breakfast.

Approximately 50 people attended the Lion’s Club event on June 17. The Lion’s Club decided to start the event in hope of turning it into an annual tradition for local fathers.

The next event for the Lion’s Club is its installation of new officers on July 12 at 6 p.m.
