GREENFIELD — Dr. Matthew A. Corvo, internist at the Albert and Donna Oliveira Clinic in Greenfield, has joined the Mee Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees this month.
“I am very excited for this opportunity to join the Board of Trustees and further help continue the growth and prosperity of the organization and in doing so, continue my calling and passion to provide excellent and comprehensive care to the hardworking citizens of our communities,” Corvo said. “I believe strongly in what Mee Memorial stands for; compassion, caring, connectedness and well-being and am determined to help further its mission.”
Corvo has been with the Mee Memorial Healthcare System, based in King City, for almost two years and is excited about the opportunities the Greenfield Clinic presents. As an internist, he sees patients ranging from 18 to 98 years old, working with everything from acute care to preventative medicine.
“Our efforts seem more front-line and consequently more rewarding,” he said. “It makes what I’m doing have more value. The patients are grateful and so am I.”
Corvo finds that his outpatient work allows him to “see medicine on a holistic level,” in addition to catching issues early and helping his patients before they are in trouble.
“We are thrilled to have Dr. Matthew Corvo join our Board as a new trustee,” said Mike Howard, board chairman. “We are confident that he is a good fit and we look forward to working together. His skills and experience will be a definite asset to us, and we hope to achieve great things together.”
