GONZALES — Gonzales Youth Guardians recently participated in the Grande Royal Tea Party, honoring senior citizens of Gonzales.

The students, supervised by Jean Salcido of the Adventure Seeking Seniors group, helped set up and serve desserts during the annual celebration held at the Apostolic Church on Seventh Street in Gonzales.

The April 29 event was made possible through funding from the City of Gonzales’ Measure K.
