HOLLISTER — Fairview Middle School had three wrestlers win championships at Saturday’s Coastal Counties Middle School Wrestling Championships hosted by Spring Grove Middle School at San Benito High School in Hollister.
Justin Uribe placed first at 145 pounds and was voted Outstanding Middle Weight, finishing the season with an overall record of 17-0. In the varsity girls division Isabel Leon placed first at 97 pounds and had an overall record of 15-0. JV wrestler Jose Viorato placed first at 80 pounds.
Chase Castillo placed second in the varsity boys division at 127 pounds. In the JV division Andrew Zarate placed second at 170 pounds and Bryan Villegas was fourh at 165 pounds.
