GONZALES — Every first and third Saturday at the Gonzales Library, youth and adults alike are able to participate in the Let’s Read Together program, where everyone reads together for a short period then discusses what they’ve read with the group.

Sometimes, like this past Saturday, there are small groups. Other times, library staff said, there can be 10 or more participants.

The library also hosted a resource fair Feb. 19, during which the community could learn about the many offerings to be found, such as audio books that allow readers to both read and listen to the words at the same time.
