Gonzales hosts local National Night Out campaign

GONZALES — Gonzales National Night Out brought out a big crowd at Central Park this year.

Residents were treated to hot dogs, fresh produce and even such prizes as bikes and helmets for youth.

The Gonzales Police Department passed out trading cards, in which a special prize is given out to those who collect all the cards.

The Gonzales Explorers helped out running games for the youth and the Gonzales Fire Department spoke with residents.
