Among the attractions for the children’s celebration was Grupo de Folklorico, a dance group from Sherwood Elementary School in Salinas. The group has members from second to sixth grades and prepared four dances to display their style, from a Norteno dance to bellacruz dance to one from Jalisco.

A special area of the park was designated for children under age 5, where they could play in bounce houses, work on puzzles, play with toys and more.
