GONZALES — Last weekend Gonzales High School Cross Country team members assisted at the 10th annual City of Gonzales Reuse, Recycle and Cleanup Days that took place at Fairview Middle School.

“The Gonzales cross country team did a great job helping with our event,” said Maury Treleven, special projects director for Tri-Cities Disposal and Recycling. “They worked really hard and were helpful to the people that came in to make drop offs.”

The Oct. 12-13 event was the final cleanup event of the year for residents.
