MONTEREY COUNTY — The Boys and Girls Clubs of Monterey County will present the 12th annual Johnson-Toney Football Camp at California State University Monterey Bay practice soccer fields, June 25-28.
This free, four-day non-contact football camp is a highlight of the Boys and Girls Club’s Healthy Lifestyles initiatives, which promote daily exercise and good nutrition among youth.
The camp is co-directed by former Philadelphia Eagles, Ron Johnson and Anthony Toney, and former Kansas City Chiefs star, ML Carter.
Johnson, who also serves as the president and CEO of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Monterey County, will play a key role in guiding the activities and ensuring a valuable experience for all participants.
The Boys and Girls Clubs continue to offer this enriching football camp to youth from diverse backgrounds across Monterey County. Camp activities include a Combine, skills stations, scrimmages, team-building games, guest speakers and daily lunches.
Volunteer coaches will emphasize good sportsmanship and fair play at all times.
Space is limited to 300 youth ages 9-14 living in Monterey County. Bus transportation is available from various locations, with schedules on the Boys and Girls Clubs website.

A separate football camp for 15-17-year-old boys and girls will be held from July 23-26, from noon to 2:30 p.m. at Rabobank Stadium in Salinas. This camp is limited to 100 athletes.
