Annual Carnival raises money for Gonzales church renovations

GONZALES — La Danza Aztec Dance Group from Soledad and Gonzales performed at the St. Theodore’s Catholic Church Annual Carnival last Sunday, Sept. 29, in Gonzales.

The event helped raise funds for church renovations, including work on the bathroom facilities. Participants at the carnival enjoyed plates of hot food, desserts and cold drinks.

Later in the afternoon, music was provided for listening and dancing.
