KING CITY — Monterey County Behavioral Health Clinic in King City celebrated its 10th anniversary Sept. 13 at its location at 200 Broadway St., Suite 88.

Guest speakers included Monterey County District 3 Supervisor Simon Salinas, King City Mayor Mike LeBarre and Monterey County Health Department staff members Elsa Mendoza Jimenez, director of Health Services; Amie Miller, director of Behavioral Health; Cathy Gutierrez, deputy director of Behavioral Health for access and substance use disordered services; and Marni Sandoval, deputy director of Behavioral Health for children’s system of care.

The celebration featured a “Tree of Hope” for guests to write inspiring messages on leaves, as well as the making of paper cranes as a symbol of peace and recovery.
