SOLEDAD — Soledad Community Health Care District is bringing mobile mammography services to Soledad through a partnership with Central California Alliance for Health and Alinea Medical Imaging.
The partnership with Alinea, an affiliate of Rezolut Mobile, will provide on-site 2-D digital mammography services through a mobile screening unit while the district recruits a qualified mammography technologist to resume its on-site mammography program.
“Access to preventive care is especially important in the rural communities we serve, where traveling outside the area for healthcare can create additional barriers for patients,” said Ida Lopez Chan, CEO of Soledad Community Health Care District. “Bringing mobile mammography services directly to our community allows us to continue connecting women with an important preventive screening while we work toward restoring our permanent mammography services.”
Screenings are scheduled for Fridays, Sept. 4, Oct. 23, Nov. 20 and Dec. 18.
Screenings are intended for women ages 40 to 74 who meet program eligibility requirements. To help ensure insurance coverage, at least 365 days should have elapsed since a patient’s previous mammogram. Appointments are encouraged because space is limited, although walk-ins may be accommodated based on availability.

Women interested in receiving a mammogram can complete Soledad Community Health Care District’s online Mammogram Sign-Up and Screening Form, available in English and Spanish, at soledadmedicalclinic.com/mobile-mammography.
Completing the form is a request for an appointment and does not confirm an appointment. District staff will review submissions and contact patients regarding scheduling and any additional information needed.
Eligible patients with Central California Alliance for Health as their primary health coverage may qualify for a $50 gift card after meeting applicable program eligibility requirements.
