Abdulmalik Alawee of Soledad, Salah Alwasheem of King City, Skarllette Suazo Castillo of King City and Desiree Meza of Gonzales were named to the Spring 2026 President’s List at Southern New Hampshire University. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum GPA of 3.7 and above for the reporting term are named to the list.
Athena Lopez of King City graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in December with a Master of Science in engineering. Athena was one of nearly 2,300 students who received an undergraduate, master’s or doctoral degree.
Ariana Mercado of Soledad was named to the Spring 2026 Dean’s List at University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kan. Students must end the semester with a 3.5 GPA or better to be included in the list.
Linda Ornelas of Greenfield was named to the Spring 2026 Dean’s List at Delta State University in Cleveland, Miss. Each semester, undergraduate students who have earned at least 12 credits and a GPA of 3.50-3.79 are recognized on the list.
Angela Reed of Soledad, who attended online, was named to the Columbia College Spring 2026 Semester Dean’s List. To be named to the list, a student must have completed 12 undergraduate credit hours in a 16-week period and achieved a minimum GPA of 3.5.
Jason Sanchez of Soledad, majoring in psychology, was recognized by Stanislaus State for their outstanding academic achievements, earning them a place on the Fall 2025 Dean’s List. This honor is awarded to students who have demonstrated superior academic performance by maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the semester.
Rachel Stuercke of King City was named to the Dean’s Honor List at Cedarville University for Spring 2026. This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours. In addition, Stuercke was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nurses, as an undergraduate nursing student. To be inducted, undergraduate students must complete at least half of their academic program and rank in the top 30% of their class.
